The UHDS-OUT2-F16 is a two-channel HDMI scaler output card designed for modular multi-format matrix assemblies. It provides independent scaling per output to match display native resolutions and color depth – preserving a constant output signal for ultra-fast switching. The card supports immediate frame-to-frame cut switching between its two ports to meet live-event and production requirements.
Each output can be scaled independently to a selected resolution aspect ratio and color depth – enabling consistent image delivery regardless of display capabilities. The card supports 4K@30Hz (4:4:4) input and scaled output and includes HDMI HDCP and EDID support. Immediate frame-to-frame switching eliminates the need to rely on display scaling and reduces on-screen latency during source changes.
Performance is optimized for broadcast and professional AV contexts with a maximum data rate of 8.91 Gbps (2.97 Gbps per graphic channel). Video latency is specified at less than three frames and switching between inputs is less than 300 ms. The card supports a broad set of output resolutions including 3840×2160@30Hz and common HD formats to match a wide range of displays.
Connectivity is provided via two HDMI outputs on female HDMI connectors and supports HDCP 1.4 and HDMI 1.3a standards. The unit supports EDID management to maintain compatibility with attached screens. Extension capability is listed at up to 15 m (49 ft) for 1080p 12-bit deep color applications.
The UHDS-OUT2-F16 is well suited for post production monitoring multi-screen advertising networks and live presentation environments. Its independent scaling and fast cut switching allow clean transitions in control rooms galleries and conference spaces. It ensures a consistent output signal for reliable display behavior across mixed device fleets.
Installation is straightforward inside Kramer VS-1616 Series modular matrices and requires standard module handling and rack integration. The card consumes 22W and operates across standard AV ambient conditions to support professional installations.
