The UH18-R is an HDBaseT HDMI receiver designed to extend UHD video and peripheral signals over a single CAT5e/6 cable. It accepts HDMI input from the sender and delivers 4K@60 video along with USB2.0, bi-directional IR and RS-232 control. The receiver supports HDCP 2.2 and HDR10 to preserve content protection and high dynamic range imaging.
The receiver offers audio extraction on both analog and SPDIF outputs and supports LPCM 7.1, DTS-HD and Dolby-HD. EDID management simplifies source and display interoperability while dual POC allows power to be supplied from either end. The UH18-R is fully compliant with HDBaseT 2.0 specifications for reliable long-distance transport of AV and control signals.
Performance highlights include 4K@60 extension up to 100 m and 1080p@60 operation up to 150 m over a single CAT5e/6 cable. HDMI 2.0 support ensures adequate bandwidth for 4K60 video streams, and HDCP 2.2 compliance maintains protected content playback. USB2.0 tunneling enables peripherals such as touch panels or USB cameras to operate across the link with minimal setup.
