The UCE3250 is a two-unit USB 2.0 Cat5 extender kit designed to move USB peripherals up to 50m from a host PC over Cat 5 / 5e / 6 cable. It supports high-speed USB 2.0 transfers and preserves data integrity across the link. This kit is presented as a transmitter and a receiver pair for remote USB connectivity.
The system supports up to four USB devices on the remote unit and delivers USB 2.0 high-speed rates up to 480 Mbps. The remote unit can be self-powered via the included DC jack to provide sufficient power to bus-powered devices. The extender transmits data using robust signaling to maintain compatibility with varied USB peripherals.
Performance-wise the UCE3250 supports USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 device classes including High, Full and Low speed devices. Maximum cable extension is up to 50 meters over Cat 5 / 5e / 6 cable while maintaining reliable data transfer. The remote unit is rated to supply 5V at up to 13W when externally powered.
Connectivity includes a USB Type B female on the local unit and four USB Type A female ports on the remote unit, plus an RJ45 link on each side. It is compatible with Windows, OS X and Linux host platforms and requires no driver installation for basic operation. The link uses standard Ethernet cable for point-to-point USB extension, not network switching.
Typical applications include remote USB hubs for webcams, scanners, keyboards, mice, flash drives and printers in access-controlled areas or industrial environments. It is well suited to kiosks, digital signage, classroom labs and production floors where devices must be located away from the host. The kit preserves device compatibility so most common USB peripherals function as if locally attached.
Installation is straightforward – plug the local unit into the host USB port, connect the two units with Cat 5 / 5e / 6 cable and power the remote unit if required. The compact metal enclosures include integrated wall-mount options for space-saving deployment in racks or on walls. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
