The CAMLIVE MX UC3310 is a compact UVC camera matrix that converts up to two 4K@30 USB camera sources into a single HDMI program output while simultaneously providing a 1080p30 UVC stream for computer-based capture. It enables seamless switching between inputs for live production and conferencing. This device is driverless and compatible with major operating systems.
The unit supports dual USB 4K camera inputs and USB audio in/out for matrixed switching of video and audio. Front-panel pushbuttons provide quick source selection and assignment. Built-in RS-232 and RS-485 control interfaces allow system integration and PTZ camera control using VISCA.
Video performance includes support for USB camera inputs up to 2160p30 and PGM HDMI output up to 2160p30; the USB UVC output supports 4Kp30 (MJPEG) and 1080p30. Color space is NV12 and audio is 16-bit PCM at 48 kHz to preserve synchronization and fidelity. The device provides low-latency pass-through suitable for live streaming and real-time monitoring.
Connectivity includes USB3.2 Gen1 Type-A and Type-C camera inputs, a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-B host port, a dedicated USB2.0 audio input, and one HDMI Type-A program output. Control ports include RJ-45 RS-232 and a terminal-block RS-485 interface for VISCA PTZ control. The CAMLIVE MX is plug-and-play for use with common streaming clients and conferencing apps.
Typical applications include live streaming to platforms such as OBS, YouTube, and Twitch, professional video conferencing on Teams and Zoom, and integration into production carts and DIT stations. It is also suitable for lecture capture, remote events, and hybrid studio setups where simultaneous local HDMI output and UVC streaming are required. The compact form factor supports flexible placement in AV racks or media stations.
The CAMLIVE MX features a metal housing and an optional rack mount kit for secure installation and durability. It operates on a 12 V DC power adapter and meets common operating environmental ranges. Setup is straightforward with front-panel controls, RS-232 automation options, and broad OS compatibility for quick deployment in professional AV workflows.
