The TX-SCL-HDBT is a modular scaling output card designed to integrate into the MX-1616-SCL matrix chassis – delivering HDMI sources as HDBaseT over a single cable. This card provides HDMI input and HDBaseT output while preserving up to 4K30 video resolution. It is intended to be installed into the corresponding matrix slot to extend scaled video to remote HDBaseT receivers.
The card features a single HDMI Type A input and a single HDBaseT RJ45 output – enabling a direct HDMI source to HDBaseT transmission path. An isolated 5-pin Phoenix audio output provides discrete audio extraction for local audio distribution or processing. The scaling function ensures the output matches downstream display requirements where supported by the system.
Performance-wise the module supports up to 4K30 video throughput and performs scaling as part of the MX-1616-SCL system processing chain. Video is transmitted over HDBaseT technology to compatible receivers, preserving HDMI audio as an extractable stream. The card is engineered for rack-mount matrix environments and for professional AV signal distribution workflows.
Connectivity is straightforward – one HDMI Type A female input accepts the source and one RJ45 HDBaseT output sends the signal over standard twisted pair infrastructure. The 5-pin Phoenix audio output provides balanced or unbalanced audio connection options depending on downstream equipment. The module operates under control of the MX-1616-SCL chassis for routing, scaling and system management.
Typical applications include corporate boardrooms, education lecture halls, digital signage and large AV installations where centralized routing and long-run distribution are required. The scaling output card is suitable where displays at remote locations require signal extension and optional local audio extraction. It fits into multi-slot matrix installations to add HDBaseT endpoints without separate external extenders.
