The TX-AFC1F is a connectorized balanced-to-unbalanced audio transformer designed to convert professional line-level signals to consumer phono-level outputs. It provides galvanic isolation and studio-grade bifilar transformer construction to preserve signal integrity. The compact design simplifies level matching and isolation in live sound, studio and broadcast chains.

Distortion is extremely low with THD below 0.06% from 50 Hz to 20 kHz at +4 dBu and a typical 0.0015% at 1 kHz with +4 dBu input. Common-mode rejection exceeds 85 dB at 50 to 60 Hz and the input supports +4 dBu nominal levels up to +22 dBu maximum.
Connectivity is straightforward with a balanced XLR input and an unbalanced phono jack RCA output, both using gold contacts for reliable mating. The input is bridged at 2.5 kO and the output provides a -10 dBV consumer level signal for direct compatibility with consumer equipment. These interfaces make the TX-AFC1F compatible with consoles, outboard processors, recorders and playback devices.
Typical applications include converting console or outboard balanced feeds to consumer devices, isolating signal grounds to eliminate hum and noise in broadcast facilities, and interfacing professional sources with consumer-grade recorders or amplifiers.
