Description
The TX-35-IWC-KVM is an in-wall HDBaseT USB-C transmitter designed to extend video and USB signals from a single-gang US decora plate. It accepts USB Type-C sources that support DisplayPort Alt Mode and passes video, audio and USB 2.0 data over a single HDBaseT link. The unit supports HDBaseT 2.0 distances and is intended to integrate with WyreStorm receivers such as the RX-500 to complete an extension system.
The transmitter supports up to 4K60 video alongside multi-channel audio formats and USB 2.0 extension at up to 150Mbps. It provides PoH support so the transmitter can be powered by a compatible receiver, and it includes a Type C power input to charge connected hosts up to 100W when a local power source is present. Bi-directional RS-232 passthrough and automatic EDID management help maintain control and display compatibility across installations.
Video capability includes 1080p60 at 16bit and several 4K and DCI resolutions up to 4096×2160@60Hz with 8bit 4:2:0 color where supported. The HDBaseT link carries a maximum data rate of 5Gbps per lane and supports USB bandwidth over HDBaseT to 150Mbps. Distance performance is rated to 35m for 4K transmissions and up to 70m for 1080p signals when paired with a suitable receiver.
Connectivity includes one USB Type C input, one USB Type C power input for device charging, and one RJ45 HDBaseT output. Control connectivity uses a 3-pin phoenix RS-232 passthrough port that forwards serial commands to the receiver side. The transmitter is HDCP 2.2 compatible and supports common audio codecs including PCM, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X.
The TX-35-IWC-KVM is suited to conference rooms, classrooms and training facilities where a clean, in-wall installation is required. It supports laptop and mobile USB-C sources that use DP Alt Mode and enables centralized AV distribution using HDBaseT infrastructure. The unit works with PoH-capable receivers to reduce cabling and eliminate the need for a local PSU in many deployments.
Installation is simplified by the 1-gang US decora form factor and compact dimensions that sit discreetly in standard wall boxes. The unit includes a USB-C cable and phoenix connectors to streamline wiring and commissioning, and automatic EDID management reduces display handshake issues. The TX-35-IWC-KVM is built to professional AV standards and carries CE, FCC, RoHS, RCM, EAC and UKCA certifications.
