The Tavor 6-O is a pair of on-wall powered two-way speakers engineered for indoor installations and wall mounting. The system combines a built-in stereo amplifier and a passive satellite to deliver full-range audio from a single active unit. It is designed to provide clear speech intelligibility and musical reproduction in small to medium rooms.
These speakers feature a 6.5in polypropylene woofer and a 1in silk dome tweeter delivering a frequency range down to 45Hz and up to 20kHz. The active speaker houses a built-in amplifier rated at 2 x 50W RMS and 2 x 140W continuous program, plus adjustable volume, bass and treble controls. The cabinet design uses an enhanced bass reflex and magnetic shielding to reduce interference and extend low-frequency response.
Performance metrics include a sensitivity of 85dB SPL at 1W/1m and a maximum continuous SPL of 100dB with 108dB peak capability. The crossover frequency is set at 8kHz and the system impedance is 4 ohms, providing predictable load behavior for connected sources. Distortion is specified at less than or equal to 0.15% and signal-to-noise ratio ranges from 80 to 90dB.
Connectivity is flexible with line-level unbalanced stereo inputs via RCA and 3.5mm mini jack, and a balanced input on a terminal block. The active speaker also provides a speaker output to feed the passive speaker and a 3.5mm line out suitable for an optional subwoofer or loop output. An automatic input voltage selector supports 90 to 240V AC at 50/60Hz and an auto power standby mode reduces idle consumption to 0.5W.
Typical applications include home theater front channels, conference and boardroom audio reinforcement, classroom audio, and presentation venues. The pair is optimized for wall-mount installations where compact footprint and directivity control matter. Coverage is approximately 54 degrees vertical and 65 degrees horizontal at 2kHz, making them suited for near-field and distributed listening positions.
Installation is simplified by the supplied U-shaped rotating mounting brackets and long speaker and power cables, while the cabinets use durable ABS with an aluminum grill and steel brackets. The active speaker is configured as the left channel and the passive as the right channel to streamline wiring.
