The SX42PHU-4 is a secure 4×2 mini-matrix KVM switcher designed to provide isolated multi-computer access while enabling two simultaneous active workstations. It delivers certified separation between connected computers and peripherals to meet stringent security requirements. The unit supports modern video standards and USB peripheral sharing for streamlined multi-source workflows.
The switcher supports two independent console displays and four computer sources, allowing users to view and control two systems at once. Mouse-based screen edge switching enables seamless movement between displays and sources without physical channel switching. Advanced presets accommodate additional displays or dual-head systems for flexible desktop configurations.
Video performance supports UHD 3840×2160 at 60 Hz via DP 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 on console and computer ports. Audio is carried via 3.5 mm jacks and USB keyboard/mouse channels use standard USB Type A and Type B connectors. The device accepts 12V DC 2.5A external power and operates across a 0 to 40 C ambient temperature range.
Connectivity includes 2x console DP/HDMI outputs, 4x DP/HDMI computer inputs, USB Type A console ports and USB Type B computer ports, plus fUSB for controlled peripheral sharing. The SX42PHU-4 is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac host systems and supports common display and peripheral standards. It is certified to NIAP Common Criteria PP4.0 PSD Protection Profile for secure deployments.
This mini-matrix is suited to meeting rooms, control centers and secure operator workstations where multiple sources must be monitored and controlled concurrently. Typical installations include real-time monitoring, presentations requiring host and guest control, and environments demanding strong isolation between systems. The dual-user capability improves collaboration while maintaining security boundaries.
Installation is straightforward with plug-and-play video and USB connectivity and mouse-switching configured by default. The compact metal enclosure measures 342 x 148 x 42 mm and weighs approximately 1.6 kg, enabling flexible placement on desks or in small racks. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
