The SX42PH-4 is a secure 4×2 mini-matrix KVM switch designed to provide simultaneous access to multiple isolated systems while preserving strict peripheral separation. It allows operators to view and control two connected computers at the same time across two console displays. The unit is certified against NIAP Common Criteria PP4.0 PSD ensuring validated security for sensitive environments.
The switch supports dual-console operation where the user can move the mouse between screens to switch focus – eliminating manual switching steps. It accepts four DP1.2 or HDMI2.0 computer inputs and provides two DP1.2/HDMI2.0 console outputs. Advanced presets support additional monitors or dual-head source configurations to extend the matrix workflow.
Video performance includes support for UHD 4K resolutions up to 3840×2160 at 60 Hz on inputs and outputs, delivered over DP1.2 or HDMI2.0 links. USB A console ports provide keyboard and mouse connectivity while USB B computer ports handle peripheral connections. Analog audio I/O uses 3.5 mm jacks and the device operates from a 12V DC external power supply.
Connectivity is straightforward with four DP1.2/HDMI2.0 computer ports and two DP1.2/HDMI2.0 console outputs plus USB Type A/B for HID devices. The switch is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac environments and supports common USB HID keyboards and mice.
