The Electro-Voice SX300PI-W is a 12 inch two-way passive loudspeaker engineered for full-range sound reinforcement in both indoor and outdoor environments. It combines a 12 inch woofer and a 1 inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver to deliver a wide frequency response and robust output. The enclosure is weather-resistant and finished in white for unobtrusive installations.
Key features include 300 W continuous power handling and a 1200 W peak capability, a constant-directivity Varipath horn for even coverage, and Ring-Mode Decoupling for improved clarity. Dual Neutrik speakON inputs provide secure cable connection to external amplifiers. The ported polypropylene cabinet includes an integrated pole socket, carry handle, and multiple M8 fly points for flexible mounting.
Performance specifications include an 80 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response and a sensitivity of 99 dB SPL. The system impedance is 8 ohms nominal with a 6 ohm minimum, and the passive crossover is set at 1.5 kHz with a 12 dB/octave slope. Directivity is rated at approximately 65 degrees horizontal by 65 degrees vertical for focused audience coverage.
Connectivity is straightforward with two locking speakON NL4 inputs for amplifier connection. There are no network or USB interfaces; signal processing is passive and requires external amplification and EQ as needed. The passive design simplifies integration into existing PA systems and amplifier racks.
The SX300PI-W is suitable for theater sound reinforcement, live music stages, DJ rigs, and outdoor events where weather resistance matters.
