The HDBaseT 3.0 In-Wall Kit pairs a SW-120-TX3-US transmitter and an RX3-100 receiver to deliver uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 AV up to 100m. This kit is designed to integrate high-resolution video and multichannel audio over a single CAT cable – providing a clean in-wall installation. It supports the latest HDCP 2.3 standards to ensure compatibility with modern 4K UHD sources.
The system supports uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit video and multichannel HDMI audio including DTS:X and Dolby Atmos. USB 2.0 passthrough provides up to 300Mbps throughput and HID extension while the transmitter supports USB-C host and up to 60W charging (PSU not included). Bidirectional RS-232 and CEC pass-through plus independent analog audio lane support give flexible control and audio routing options.
Performance specifications include an 18Gbps encoding data rate and end-to-end latency of approximately 10 microseconds for virtually zero perceptible delay. The transmitter and receiver are backwards compatible with HDBaseT 1.0 devices and support bidirectional Power over HDBaseT (PoH). Maximum pixel clock is 600MHz and supported standards include HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG, BT.2020 and BT.2100.
Connectivity options include HDMI Type A input, USB-C alternate mode/host, Type B USB host, RS-232 3-pin Phoenix shared port, a 3.5mm line-in and an 8-pin RJ45 HDBaseT output. The receiver provides three USB device ports and analog audio pass-through from transmitter to receiver. The kit supports DVI-I and DP++ v1.3 source compatibility where applicable.
Typical applications include concealed AV installations in meeting rooms, classrooms and high-end residential systems where a discreet in-wall solution is required. Installers will benefit from a single-cable run for video, audio, control and USB signals – simplifying cable management and future maintenance.
