The HDBaseT 3.0 Transmitter and Receiver Kit delivers uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video and multichannel audio over a single category cable up to 100m. This kit pairs a SW-120-TX3 transmitter with an RX3-100 receiver to extend HDMI signals while preserving HDCP 2.3 protection. The solution targets AV installers and system integrators who require low-latency high-fidelity distribution.
Key features include full 4K60 4:4:4 support, HDCP 2.3 compatibility, and multichannel HDMI audio including DTS:X and Dolby Atmos. The kit supports USB 2.0 passthrough at 300Mbps and provides USB device ports on the receiver for HID extension and peripheral connectivity. Independent analog audio lane pass-through and bidirectional RS-232 and CEC simplify control integration.
Performance specifications include an 18Gbps encoding data rate and an end-to-end latency of approximately 10 microseconds. The system supports a maximum pixel clock of 600MHz and a wide range of standards such as HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG, BT.2020, and BT.2100. Backwards compatibility with HDBaseT 1.0 devices ensures interoperability with legacy equipment.
Connectivity options cover a full HDMI input, USB-C alt mode host, USB Type A device ports, RS-232 control via 3-pin Phoenix, 3.5mm analog audio input and output, and an 8-pin RJ45 HDBaseT link. The transmitter offers USB-C charging up to 60W when a compatible PSU is provided, while the receiver includes three USB device ports and a supplied 20V 3A PSU. The kit supports 2-way PoH to power compatible endpoints and shared RS-232 control between TX and RX.
