The SW-640L-TX-W is a 4-input presentation switcher designed to streamline screen sharing and conferencing in modern meeting rooms. It supports 4K60 4:4:4 output on its primary HDMI port and offers a second HDMI output for dual-screen setups. The unit integrates wired and wireless sources for flexible presentation workflows.
Key capabilities include two USB-C inputs with MST and 60W Power Delivery to support single-cable laptop connections. The switcher also provides wireless casting via Apple AirPlay and Miracast for up to four devices simultaneously and features multiview layouts to display multiple sources on one screen. A built-in USB 3.0 hub accepts peripherals such as speakerphones and cameras to simplify conferencing setups.
Performance is optimized for 4K content – HDMI Out 1 supports 3840x2160p@60Hz 4:4:4 while HDMI Out 2 supports 3840x2160p@30Hz 4:4:4. The unit handles HDCP 2.2 on the primary output and HDCP 1.4 on the remaining ports. A 300MHz pixel clock and support for DCI and RGB color spaces ensure accurate video reproduction for presentations and high-resolution sources.
Connectivity options include 2x HDMI inputs, 2x USB-C inputs with alt-mode for A/V Ethernet and data, 3x RJ45 LAN ports, 3x USB 3.0 Type A device ports and 2x USB 3.0 Type B host ports. RS-232 control is provided via a 4-pin Phoenix connector and an integrated webserver and Telnet-over-TLS API enable secure remote management. The built-in wireless access point supports custom SSID, password and PIN control for isolated screensharing sessions.
Typical applications include boardrooms and huddle spaces that require seamless switching between laptops, native HDMI sources and wireless devices. The multiview mode supports collaborative presentations by showing up to four sources simultaneously. Dual HDMI outputs can be used in matrix mode or mirrored for side-by-side displays, making the unit suitable for multi-screen conference rooms and training environments.
Installation is straightforward with included mounting brackets and an under-desk friendly form factor. The system ships with a universal 20V 10A power supply and four detachable Wi-Fi antennas for flexible placement. Firmware updates and custom guide screens can be applied via the web interface to tailor the user experience and maintain long-term reliability.
