The ST-OSC2B is a dual audio oscillator module that produces precision sine-wave test tones at 100 Hz and 400 Hz. It is designed as a compact signal source for audio alignment, troubleshooting, and system verification. The module provides stable, amplitude-controlled signals for professional audio installations.
Each oscillator offers two independent outputs that may be connected to either balanced or unbalanced lines, enabling stereo or multi-channel testing. Individual multiturn level controls permit precise output adjustment for each oscillator. Integrated AGC circuitry maintains consistent output level during tests and measurements.
Performance characteristics include a low output impedance of 200 ohm to drive high- or low-impedance lines and a user-adjustable output range up to +10 dBu into 600 ohm. The ST-OSC2B yields harmonic distortion that is specified below 3% THD+N for the 100 Hz / 400 Hz outputs. Operating environment range and power requirements support stable operation in typical installation conditions.
Connectivity is straightforward with two outputs per oscillator and compatibility with balanced or unbalanced wiring conventions. The low-impedance outputs make the module suitable for driving long runs or feeding into mixing and monitoring equipment. Multiturn level trims give installers precise control when matching levels across channels.
