The ST-LCR1H is a compact logic-controlled DPDT relay designed to add high-current dry-switching contacts to audio systems. It provides an LED indicator that shows relay activation and accepts multiple control input types. The unit is intended for switching speaker lines and other high-power audio circuits.
Key features include DPDT switching contacts rated for 8 Amp operation, an on-board LED activation indicator, and selectable control inputs. The relay closes when a control signal is applied and releases when the signal is removed. Control inputs include SLAVE (ground-activated/open-collector), a 5V+ input range, and a 24V+ input range.
Performance specifications support up to 8 Amp current and up to 500 W of amplified audio power. The relay contacts are rated at 8 Amp @ 250 Vac or 30 Vdc and are suitable for 8 ohm, 70.7 V, or 100 V speaker lines. The ambient operating range is 0 C to 55 C and the unit requires a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply at 50 mA.
Connectivity options include a SLAVE control terminal that functions as an input or as an open-collector control output for driving indicators or slave LCRs. The device accepts open-collector inputs and can be driven directly by RDL STICK-ON open-collector outputs. Signal control selection is straightforward and compatible with standard control wiring used in AV installations.
Typical applications include speaker zone switching, muting or routing of amplified audio lines, and integration into paging or background music systems. The ST-LCR1H is suitable for commercial audio, houses of worship, retail, and corporate AV where reliable high-current switching is required.
