The SP-0108-SCL is a compact 1×8 HDMI splitter designed to distribute a single HDMI source to multiple displays while preserving advanced HDR and color metadata. It supports native 4K60 signals and includes per-output downscalers so mixed-resolution displays can be used simultaneously. The unit provides audio extraction and flexible EDID control to ensure reliable interoperability across diverse AV systems.
The splitter features per-output 4K to 1080p downscalers configurable via dipswitch or API, allowing each output to deliver the resolution required by the connected display. It also offers analog and digital S/PDIF audio de-embed for easy integration with amplifiers or DSPs. Advanced EDID management includes 16 pre-loaded EDIDs and a custom EDID upload option for precise handshake control.
Performance-wise the SP-0108-SCL passes uncompressed 18 Gbps HDMI signals and supports a wide range of resolutions including 4K60 in multiple chroma and bit-depth modes. Supported video formats include HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG and BT.2020 colorimetry. The device reports no added end-to-end latency and supports HDCP 2.2 compliance for protected content delivery.
Connectivity includes one HDMI input and eight HDMI outputs using 19-pin Type A connectors plus a 3-pin Phoenix and S/PDIF for audio output. Control options include RS-232 via a 3-pin Phoenix connection, API control and front-panel buttons for EDID copy and selection. CEC triggering is supported for automated power commands to compatible displays, with adjustable power-off delay on sink loss.
