Key features include SoundTube WX Weather Guard technology that uses a dual-layer hydrophobic material in the grille to repel moisture and protect internal components. The speaker uses a 133 mm (5.25 in) polypropylene woofer paired with a 25 mm (1.0 in) soft dome tweeter to provide balanced tonal response. An easy-access six-position tap switch supports 25 V / 70.7 V / 100 V distributed audio systems and an 8 ohm transformer bypass for direct low-impedance connection.
