The SC42PHU-N is a 4×2 KVM combiner designed to display and control multiple computers simultaneously. It consolidates video, USB peripherals and analog audio into two HDMI consoles for efficient multi-source workflows. The device preserves electrical isolation between connected computers while enabling seamless local control.
This KVM combiner supports up to four DP or HDMI sources and outputs to dual HDMI consoles. It includes four USB 3.0 Type A ports on the console side and a USB 3.0 Type B port for computer connections to enable high-speed peripheral sharing. Local analog audio I/O is provided via 3.5 mm jacks for speaker and microphone connections.
Video performance supports UHD 4K resolutions up to 3840×2160 for both input and output, delivering high-resolution desktop and multimedia content. The combiner can cascade to combine multiple units and scale control to larger multi-system setups. Power is supplied internally with a maximum power consumption of 35W.
Connectivity is broad and flexible – each computer port accepts DisplayPort or HDMI video and provides USB Type B for keyboard and mouse control. The console side uses USB Type A for HID devices and USB 3.0 Type A for high-speed peripherals. Supported operating systems include Windows, Linux and Mac to ensure broad compatibility with common workstation environments.
Typical applications include control rooms, trading desks, AV operation centers and broadcast monitoring where users must view and interact with multiple isolated systems. The combiner supports simultaneous viewing and control of up to four hosts and can cascade to manage up to sixteen systems on single or dual displays. Clipboard and file transfers are supported via the KVM without network connectivity.
Installation is straightforward using rack or desktop placement with a compact footprint of 342 x 148 x 42 mm and a 1.61 kg weight. The unit is certified to CE, RCM, FCC class B, VCCI, TUV US and TUV Canada standards and ships with a two year warranty and a 10 year product life-cycle. The SC42PHU-N is BAA and TAA compliant for government and enterprise procurement.
