The RX-35-POH is a compact Class B HDBaseT receiver engineered to extend 4K HDR video over category cable from a compatible HDBaseT matrix or presentation switcher. It receives pixel-accurate 4K UHD signals and presents a single HDMI output for local displays. The receiver is intended for professional AV installations where reliable long-distance HDMI delivery and control pass-through are required.
Key features include support for 4K HDR source content, HDCP 2.2 compliance, and 2-way PoH that allows the unit to be powered by a PoH-enabled matrix or to supply power to in-wall HDBaseT transmitters. The device also provides bi-directional IR and RS-232 control passthrough and supports CEC routing when integrated into a compatible WyreStorm system. These features reduce the need for local power supplies and simplify system cabling and control integration.
In terms of performance the RX-35-POH supports pixel-perfect 4K UHD 4:2:0 10-bit at 24Hz over HDBaseT to distances up to 35m/115ft, and 1080p signals to the same distance. The receiver remains compliant with HDCP 2.2 encryption to ensure playback of protected content without compatibility issues. Its Class B HDBaseT implementation balances distance and signal integrity for common AV environments.
Connectivity is focused and installation-friendly, with an HDBaseT input for the cat cable link and an HDMI output for the display. Control options include bi-directional IR and RS-232 passthrough and system-level CEC routing when used with compatible WyreStorm matrices or extenders. Two-way PoH support allows the unit to accept power from a PoH source or supply power downstream to compatible transmitters.
Typical applications include presentation switching in conference rooms, digital signage distribution in corporate or retail environments, and AV extension for classrooms and meeting spaces.
