The RU-UDA4 is a connectorized, unbalanced line-level audio distribution amplifier designed to provide reliable splitter functionality for stereo or dual-mono applications. It contains two isolated channels that can operate as left and right in stereo or independently as two separate mono distributors. The unit is built around phono (RCA) connectors to simplify integration with consumer and professional line-level equipment.
Key features include unity gain buffering, four independent phono outputs per channel, and signal conditioning optimized for industry-standard -10 dBV levels. The RU-UDA4 delivers low distortion and low noise performance to preserve source fidelity during distribution. Its design emphasizes consistent level tracking and minimal channel interaction.
Performance specifications include a frequency response of 5 Hz to 50 kHz (± 0.5 dB), THD+N below 0.020%, and noise below -90 dB referenced to -10 dBV. Connectivity is straightforward: two phono inputs and eight phono outputs (four per channel) with 10 kO input impedance and 100 O output impedance, all unbalanced. Power is supplied via a ground-referenced 24 Vdc source drawing approximately 25 mA. The RU-UDA4 supports stand-alone installation or high-density 1/3-rack mounting for rack systems.
The RU-UDA4 is well suited for broadcast, post-production, studio patching, and installed audio systems where multiple destinations need identical line-level feeds. It can distribute a single program feed to multiple processors, recorders, or monitors without level loss or added distortion. The pair-of-channel architecture also supports systems that require two independent mono splits from a single chassis.
Installation is simple and intuitive – the unit accepts standard phono cabling and requires a single 24 Vdc ground-referenced supply. It is compact and engineered for high-density rack mounting or desktop placement.
