The RMK-1 rackmount kit is a dedicated mounting accessory designed to integrate Datavideo 1 RU hardware into a standard equipment rack. It enables installation of either one full-width unit or two half-width units in a single rack unit. The kit assembles the structural components required for a secure rack installation and maintains a professional rack appearance.
Key components include two half-length rack ears, an upper connection plate, a lower connection plate and a half-length front block plate. A complete mounting screw kit is included to fasten plates and ears to the equipment and rack rails. These components are engineered to align with standard rack hole patterns and 1 RU spacing.
Technically the kit is specified for 1 RU rack compatibility and includes mounting screws in the following sizes: 4 x M3 x 4 mm, 4 x M4 x 8 mm and 2 x M3 x 6 mm. The packaging weight is 1.435 lb and the outer box dimensions are 10.2 x 4.9 x 2.5 inches. The metal plates and ears provide the mechanical support required for typical broadcast and production equipment.
Connectivity considerations focus on mechanical compatibility rather than signal I/O – the RMK-1 secures Datavideo modules and preserves access to rear-panel connectors and controls.
