The RE3-ND76-5H is a handheld wireless microphone system combining the ND76 dynamic cardioid mic head, RE3-RX diversity receiver, and RE3-HHT handheld transmitter body. It is designed to deliver clear vocal reproduction and reliable wireless transmission across the 560 – 596 MHz 5H band. The set supports broad frequency tuning and selectable transmit power for varied venue sizes and RF environments.
The ND76 mic head uses a large Mylar diaphragm and a cardioid polar pattern to provide balanced presence and tight stage isolation. A 4-point capsule suspension plus a tuned pneumatic pump reduces handling noise and mechanical vibration. The Memraflex tight-mesh grille and hydrophobic cloth membrane protect the capsule from moisture and debris for long-term durability.
The RE3-RX receiver is a half-rack diversity unit that minimizes dropouts by selecting the best antenna signal moment-by-moment. It provides a wide 36 MHz tuning bandwidth covering 560 – 596 MHz, selectable in 25 kHz steps, and offers frequency scanning and ultrasonic sync for fast setup. The system supports 1440 selectable frequencies and transmit power options of 10 mW and 50 mW to optimize range and RF coexistence.
The RE3-HHT handheld transmitter accepts 1.25″ diameter 28 UN-2A thread pitch microphone heads, allowing quick head changes and correct branding orientation via the floating captured ID collar. The transmitter runs on 2x AA alkaline or NiMH cells and includes recharging contacts for use with the optional BC2 charging station. Ultrasonic sync and full transmitter control via the receiver simplify frequency and parameter synchronization during deployment.
This set is suited to live sound, houses of worship, corporate presentations, and rental inventories that require dependable vocal performance and resilient RF operation. The humbucking coil in the capsule reduces AC hum and electromagnetic interference near speaker cabinets and equipment racks.
