The PTC-325W is a networked 4K PTZ camera designed to capture high-resolution video while providing precise motorized pan, tilt, and zoom control. It combines a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor and 30x optical zoom to capture distant subjects with clarity. The camera supports simultaneous HDMI, 3G-SDI, and NDI|HX outputs for flexible signal routing.
Key features include automatic subject tracking, a 30x optical lens and 16x digital zoom, and advanced 3D noise reduction to improve low-light performance. The integrated PID algorithm adapts pan, tilt, and zoom speed for smooth framing when tracking. Tally lights and 255 programmable presets make it suitable for multi-camera productions.
Performance specifications include UHD 4K60 output over HDMI and NDI|IP and 1080p60 over 3G-SDI, effective 8.46 megapixel sensor resolution, 1/10000 to 1/30 second shutter speed, and a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux. The camera supports H.264/H.265/MJPEG streaming, multiple frame rates up to 3840 x 2160, and audio encoding in AAC, MP3, and PCM formats. Signal-to-noise ratio is 55 dB for clean image capture.
Connectivity covers HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI BNC, RJ45 NDI/IP, RS-232/RS-422 control over RJ45, a 3.5 mm mic/line input, and a USB-A port for firmware updates. The PTC-325W supports NDI|HX3, RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, ONVIF, Multicast streaming protocols and PoE 802.3af for single-cable install. Control protocols include VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-P, Pelco-D, DVIP and NDI to integrate with common control systems.
Typical applications include lecture capture, live production, houses of worship, and corporate streaming where automated tracking and multiple simultaneous outputs reduce crew needs. Designated-person tracking reduces false triggers in busy scenes while PTZ View Assist and supported controllers allow easy preset recall. Dual-stream network outputs let you stream to local recorders and cloud platforms concurrently.
Installation is simplified by PoE support and an included power adapter plus ceiling mount bracket set and tripod thread. The camera body includes a bolt-down base option and an integrated 1/4″-20 mount for stands. Firmware updates via USB-A and network management tools help maintain secure, up-to-date operation.
