The PTC-325 is a 4K PTZ camera designed to capture high-resolution video with motorized pan, tilt, and zoom control. It combines a 1/2.8″-type CMOS sensor and a 30x optical zoom lens to deliver clear images across long distances. The camera supports UHD 4K output plus multiple professional streaming and control protocols to fit into broadcast and AV workflows.
Key capabilities include auto-tracking powered by an adaptive PID algorithm and advanced 3D noise reduction to maintain image sharpness in low light. The lens provides 30x optical zoom and up to 16x digital zoom for detailed close-ups without sacrificing framing flexibility. The system supports 255 presets and smooth pan/tilt speeds to recall positions quickly and follow subjects reliably.
Technically the camera records up to 3840 x 2160 at standard frame rates via HDMI and NDI|HX while 3G-SDI provides simultaneous 1080p output up to 60 fps. Image parameters include an effective 8.46 megapixel sensor, shutter range from 1/10000 to 1/30 second, signal-to-noise ratio of 55 dB and a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux. Pan range is 300 degrees and tilt range is 145 degrees with variable speed control for precise framing.
Connectivity is comprehensive with HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI BNC, RJ45 for NDI/IP streaming and control, an RS-232/RS-422 port, and a 3.5 mm mic/line input for embedded audio. The camera supports NDI|HX, RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, ONVIF and multicast streaming and can send two independent streams simultaneously. PoE 802.3af simplifies installation by carrying power, video, tally and control over a single Cat6 cable.
This PTZ camera suits conference rooms, lecture halls, houses of worship, and live event production where automated subject tracking and multi-format outputs are required. It handles multi-speaker scenarios by allowing a single designated subject to be tracked while ignoring background motion. Broadcast facilities will value tally lights and simultaneous outputs for program/preview workflows.
Installation and operation are straightforward thanks to PoE support, a 1/4″-20 mounting thread and ceiling mount compatibility for permanent installs. Control can be performed via IR remote, IP, serial protocols, standard PTZ controllers, or Datavideo control apps. The camera is engineered for continuous operation and integrates cleanly into IP and SDI infrastructures.
