The PTC-305G is a professional 4K PTZ camera engineered for broadcast and live production workflows. It captures up to 2160p60 video and pairs a Sony 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor with advanced image processing to deliver detailed images. Integrated auto-tracking and versatile output options make it suitable for multi-camera productions and networked deployments.
Key features include 20x optical zoom, 16x digital zoom, built-in NDI|HX support, and 12G-SDI output for single-cable 4K60 workflows. The camera supports dual streaming, H.264/H.265 encoding, and industry protocols such as ONVIF and DVIP for interoperability. A PID-based PTZ algorithm smooths pan/tilt/zoom motion and improves tracking stability.
Technically the camera offers a 1/1.8″ Sony CMOS sensor with approximately 8.42 megapixels, a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux at F1.8, and electronic shutter from 1/30s to 1/10000s. The lens covers a 60° horizontal field of view at wide and a focal length range of 6.7mm to 125mm. Noise reduction and AGC deliver cleaner images in low light while preserving detail.
Connectivity covers HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, 12G-SDI, and a Gigabit RJ45 port with PoE support to transmit video, audio, power, tally, and control over a single cable. Streaming protocols include RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT, multicast, ONVIF and NDI|Hx for 1080p workflows. Audio input is a 3.5 mm mic/line jack and the camera supports AAC and G711 audio compression.
Typical applications include broadcast studios, lecture capture, houses of worship, corporate presentations and remote event streaming. The camera handles multi-camera productions via NDI or SDI and integrates with Datavideo controllers, switchers, and cloud streaming services. Auto tracking supports single-person focus and custom object linking to reduce interference from other motion in the scene.
Installation and daily operation are streamlined with PoE power, a web GUI for preview and control, IR remote and Datavideo controller compatibility. Tally LEDs indicate preview and program status and the unit is available in dark blue or white to match permanent installs. Firmware updates are possible via Web UI or USB.
