The PTC-305G is a professional 4K PTZ camera designed to capture broadcast-quality video with precise framing and automated subject tracking. It delivers up to 2160p60 output and supports 12G-SDI for single-cable UHD transmission. The camera is built to integrate into live production, streaming, and broadcast workflows where high-resolution output and reliable PTZ control are required.
Key features include a 20x optical zoom lens, NDI HX network video, dual streaming output and integrated auto-tracking. The camera supports H.264/H.265 encoding, PoE power delivery and multiple simultaneous outputs including HDMI 2.0, 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI. Onboard tracking options let you lock on a selected subject or follow the most active talent using intelligent motion adaptation.
Technically the camera uses a Sony 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor and records with approximately 8.42 megapixels. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.5 lux at F1.8 with AGC engaged, and the electronic shutter range is 1/30s to 1/10000s. Optical performance includes a 20x optical zoom, 16x digital zoom, f1.58-f3.95 aperture range and a horizontal field of view of 60 degrees at wide angle.
Connectivity is comprehensive: HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, 12G-SDI and Gigabit Ethernet with PoE simplify cabling and integration. Network streaming supports RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT and NDI|Hx and the camera is ONVIF Profile S compliant for broad interoperability. Control options include VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-D/P, RS-422 and Datavideo DVIP for system-level integration.
Typical applications include broadcast studios, lecture capture, houses of worship and corporate AV where automated camera movement and high-resolution outputs reduce crew needs. The tally LEDs, preset recall and web GUI preview simplify live operation while dual-stream capability supports simultaneous program and monitoring feeds. NDI Virtual Input lets the camera function as a source for conferencing platforms and software switchers.
Installation and operation are straightforward thanks to PoE support, web-based configuration and compatibility with Datavideo control panels and apps. The camera is available in dark blue or white finishes to suit fixed installations and includes firmware update support via Web UI or USB. Built-in 3D noise reduction and a robust cooling design help ensure reliable performance in continuous-use environments.
