The PTC-305 is a 4K60 NDI HX PTZ camera designed to deliver consistent broadcast-quality video and automated subject framing. It combines an 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor and advanced image processing to capture sharp 4K images at up to 60 frames per second. This camera supports both SDI and HDMI plus IP streaming for flexible signal routing and distribution.
Key features include Datavideo intelligent auto tracking that follows a selected subject using a PID algorithm to smooth pan/tilt/zoom movement. Optical 20x zoom and up to 16x digital zoom give framing control for spaces from small classrooms to large auditoriums. The camera also incorporates 3D noise reduction and configurable sharpening for improved low-light performance.
On the performance side, the PTC-305 uses an effective 8.51 megapixel sensor and supports shutter speeds from 1/10000 to 1/30 second for capture flexibility. It outputs 4K up to 60 fps over HDMI 2.0 and NDI HX/IP while providing a 3G-SDI output for 1080p workflows. Image framing modes include full-body, half-body, and close-up presets to keep talent in-frame automatically.
Connectivity covers HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI (BNC), RJ45 LAN for NDI HX and streaming protocols, a 3.5 mm mic/line input, USB-A, and RS-232/RS-422 control. The camera supports H.264/H.265 compression and streaming via TCP/SRT/RTSP/RTMPS/RTMP and ONVIF compatibility. Power over Ethernet via PoE+ 802.3at reduces cabling and simplifies installation.
The PTC-305 is suitable for lecture capture, corporate presentations, houses of worship, live streaming and broadcast environments where reliable auto tracking and 4K capture are required. Preset recall and 255 programmable positions allow repeatable camera moves for multi-camera productions and picture-in-picture switching. Integrated tally and control compatibility enable synchronized operation in larger AV systems.
Setup is straightforward using the included IR remote or Datavideo control solutions including DVIP protocol panels and the PTZ View Assist mobile app. The camera supports PoE+ or 12 VDC power and includes mounting options for tripods and ceiling installations.
