The PTC-155W is an AI-powered PTZ camera engineered for professional live production and streaming. It combines a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor with 30x optical zoom to deliver Full HD 1080p60 video suitable for broadcast, lecture capture, corporate events and houses of worship. The camera integrates precision tracking and a dual-lens system to capture both tight shots and wide-area coverage.
Key capabilities include AI auto-tracking, a dual-lens configuration, and advanced 2D/3D noise reduction for clean images in challenging lighting. The system supports 30x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom to maintain sharp subject detail at distance. An integrated PID-based speed adaptation and S-shaped speed curve ensure smooth, natural pan/tilt/zoom motion.
Technical performance includes a broadcast-grade 1/2.8-inch Sony CMOS sensor and support for 1920×1080 at 60fps output. The camera encodes dual H.264/H.265 streams and can output a secondary lower-resolution stream for streaming or monitoring. Image processing features provide clean detail and reduced noise for low-light and high-contrast scenes.
Connectivity covers 3G-SDI, HDMI, UVC and NDI/HX3 over a single Ethernet cable, enabling video, audio, power, tally and control over IP. Supported streaming and network protocols include RTSP, RTMP(S), DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, Multicast and ONVIF Profile S. Audio compression supports AAC, MP3 and PCM formats and the camera provides tally lights for program/preview status.
Typical applications include performance halls, lecture capture, corporate conferencing and places of worship where automated subject tracking and single-cable IP workflows reduce operator overhead. The camera’s custom object tracking lets operators lock onto a specific person to avoid false tracking in crowded or dynamic environments. Wide 54 degree field of view coverage from the secondary lens captures the full scene when needed.
The PTC-155W provides multiple control options including RS-422, DVIP, VISCA over IP, web user interface, Datavideo controllers and the PTZ View Assist app. Presets, white balance, focus and iris are accessible remotely and the camera supports fast integration with switchers and encoders. Available in black or white finishes, the camera is designed for reliable continuous operation and straightforward installation.
