Description

The PTC-155TW is a Full HD PTZ camera designed to capture high-quality 1080p60 video while simplifying system cabling using HDBaseT transmission. It combines a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor, 30x optical zoom and a dual-lens AI tracking system to maintain accurate subject framing. This camera is intended for professional AV installations that demand reliable tracking and broadcast-grade imaging.

Core features include dual-lens AI auto-tracking, a 30x optical zoom plus 16x digital zoom and advanced 3D digital noise reduction to preserve image clarity in challenging light. The secondary ultra-wide lens provides scene coverage while the main lens delivers close-ups and detailed framing. The integrated PID algorithm and S-shaped speed curve ensure smooth, natural pan/tilt/zoom motions without abrupt stops.

Technically the PTC-155TW supports Full HD resolutions up to 1920×1080 at 60fps and a range of shutter and gain settings to adapt to different environments. It uses a Sony 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor and reports a minimum illumination of 0.5 Lux at F1.8 with AGC engaged. Pan range is 300deg and tilt range is +130deg to -15deg with up to 255 preset positions for repeatable shots.

Connectivity options include HDMI 1.3, 3G-SDI, UVC output, 10/100M RJ45 with PoE and HDBaseT with PoE for one-cable video, control and power. The camera supports H.264/H.265/MJPEG streaming and RTSP/RTMP(S)/SRT/ONVIF/Multicast transport for direct network workflows. Control and integration are supported via VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-P/Pelco-D, DVIP, NDI and RS-422/RS-232 interfaces, plus a web UI.

Common applications include lecture capture, house of worship services, corporate boardrooms and performance halls where hands-free tracking is required. The user can designate a specific subject for tracking to prevent false targets and switch quickly between full-body, half-body and close-up framing presets. Built-in SD card recording provides local backup of critical events and simplifies content management.

Installation and operation are straightforward thanks to PoE support, multiple mounting options and compatibility with Datavideo controllers and apps. Firmware updates can be performed via the web UI and remote control is available via IR, RS-422 and network commands. The camera chassis and mechanics are engineered for reliability and continuous operation in professional AV environments.
