The PT-572HDCP+ is a compact DVI receiver designed to restore DVI video from a balanced twisted-pair link. It converts the incoming twisted-pair signal back to a standard DVI output and supports HDCP content protection. The unit is engineered to fit tight AV racks or discreet installations while maintaining pixel-accurate video delivery.
The receiver supports a 1.65Gbps data rate and is HDTV compatible, enabling reliable delivery of high-resolution video signals. It passes EDID and HDCP information transparently between source and display to maintain proper handshake and protected content playback. The product is HDCP compliant to ensure compatibility with protected DVI sources.
Performance specifications include support for SXGA and UXGA resolutions with system ranges that vary by cable type and resolution. Typical ranges include up to 90m (295ft) at SXGA and up to 30m (98ft) at UXGA on shielded BC-DGKat524 cable. Higher-grade shielded cables such as BC-DGKat623 and BC-DGKat723 extend UXGA range to approximately 70m (230ft) and 80m (265ft) respectively.
Connectivity is straightforward with a single RJ-45 input for the twisted-pair link and a DVI 24-pin female output for the display. The unit requires shielded twisted-pair (STP) cable and is optimized for Kramer’s BC-DGKat524, BC-DGKat623 and BC-DGKat723 cables. EDID pass-through ensures the source reads the correct display capabilities and preserves timing information.
Typical applications include boardrooms, classrooms, signage infrastructures and studio patching where DVI signals must be extended beyond native cable limits. The PT-572HDCP+ is suitable wherever protected DVI content must be transmitted across copper links with maintained handshakes. It supports installations that require small form-factor receivers that can be rack-mounted in groups using Kramer’s RK-4PT adapter.
Installation is simple and flexible – the Power Connect system allows a single power feed to power both transmitter and receiver when within 90m of each other. The picoTOOLS form factor supports compact deployments while providing a stable mechanical footprint and optional rack mounting. The unit ships with a power supply and mounting bracket to simplify system integration and field installation.

Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
