The PT-110xl is an extended-range UXGA line transmitter designed to carry UXGA/VGA analog video over a single CAT5/6 twisted-pair cable. It transmits high-resolution video up to WUXGA and 1080p and supports HDTV formats. The unit pairs with Kramer xl-series receivers to extend video signals over long distances with reliable performance.
Key features include EDID capture, Power Connect system, HDTV compatibility and enhanced noise immunity. EDID capture copies and stores display EDID to ensure correct source timing and resolution selection. Power Connect enables one power source to supply both transmitter and receiver when units are within 150ft (50m), simplifying installations.
The PT-110xl supports resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p while maintaining a paired S/N ratio better than 70dB in worst-case conditions. Extended transmission range reaches up to 250m (820ft) over CAT5/6 to compatible xl-series receivers. Power consumption is 12V DC at 285mA and the device uses AC coupling for robust signal handling.
Connectivity consists of a 15-pin HD VGA/UXGA input and a single RJ-45 twisted-pair output. The transmitter interoperates with PT-120xl, TP-122xl and TP-126xl receivers and is HDTV compatible for mixed source environments. The compact housing and optional RK-4PT 19-inch rack adapter enable flexible system integration.
Common applications include boardrooms and classrooms that require long-distance VGA distribution without image degradation. It is suitable for digital signage installations where the source must be located remotely from displays. The EDID capture and noise immunity features help maintain consistent display behavior across varied sites.
