The PT-102VN is a compact 1×2 distribution amplifier designed for composite video and SDI signal distribution. It accepts a single buffered input and provides two isolated, identical outputs for reliable signal routing. The unit is engineered to preserve video integrity across short distribution runs while offering front-accessible adjustments for level and equalization.
Key features include a wide video bandwidth of 430MHz (-3dB) and front-panel trimmers for Gain and EQ adjustments. The amplifier supports 1Vpp/75ohm composite or SDI inputs and delivers up to 2Vpp maximum video output. The ultra-compact Pico TOOLS form factor allows four units to be mounted side-by-side in a single 1U rack space using the RK-4PT rack adapter.
Performance metrics emphasize low distortion and high signal fidelity – differential gain 0.05% differential phase 0.05Deg and K-factor <0.05% with a signal-to-noise ratio of 76.1dB. The manual Gain range is -1.2 to +6dB and EQ provides 0 to +7.5dB peaking at 50MHz. These controls let technicians tailor output level and frequency response to compensate for cable loss or system imbalances.
Connectivity is straightforward: one BNC input at 1Vpp/75ohm and two BNC outputs at 1Vpp/75ohm, plus a 12V DC power input drawing 30mA.
