The PT-102SN is a compact 1×2 distribution amplifier designed for s-Video (Y/C) signals. It accepts a single s-Video input and provides two buffered, isolated outputs for reliable signal splitting. The unit preserves video integrity while maintaining consistent levels across outputs.
Key features include a wide 150MHz bandwidth for accurate luminance reproduction and separate luma and chroma gain controls. The device provides correct buffering and isolation to prevent signal degradation and cross-talk between outputs. It supports AC coupling and a maximum output level of 1.3Vpp.
Performance specifications include differential gain of 0.05%, differential phase of 0.05 degrees, and K-factor below 0.05%. Signal-to-noise ratio is 76dB at 5MHz, delivering clean picture quality. Gain ranges are Luma (Y) -1.9dB to +5.1dB and Chroma (C) 0dB to +6.8dB at 5MHz.
Connectivity is straightforward with one 4-pin s-Video input and two 4-pin s-Video outputs. The unit uses a 12V DC power source drawing 25mA and ships with a power supply and mounting bracket. An optional RK-4PT rack adapter allows mounting up to four units side-by-side in 1U of rack space.
Typical applications include small broadcast signal splitting, A/V distribution in control rooms, and duplication of legacy video feeds for monitoring or capture.
