The WP-211X is a 1-gang Decora wall plate HDMI 2×1 switcher designed to switch two HDMI sources to a single HDMI display. It offers pass-through of 4K60 4:4:4 video and supports HDR and HDCP 2.3 enabling modern display compatibility. The unit also provides audio de-embedding to feed local analog audio outputs.
Key features include two front-panel HDMI inputs and a rear HDMI output, pushbutton switching, and automatic input detection based on active sources. The switcher supports 32-channel embedded digital audio and can de-embed audio to an analog stereo terminal block for local playback. Front LEDs indicate input status and simplify local troubleshooting.
Performance supports DCI 4K up to 60 fps with 4:4:4 color processing and deep color formats. The device is HDMI 2.0 compliant and handles advanced audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD High Resolution. I-EDIDPro intelligent EDID management ensures correct handshake and stable video/audio presentation between sources and displays.
Connectivity comprises 2x HDMI 2.0 female inputs on the front, 1x HDMI 2.0 female output on the rear, and a 3-pin analog stereo block output for de-embedded audio. Power is supplied via a 12 VDC 2 A input using the included adapter. The plate ships with black and white Decora front plates and an installation kit for a clean in-wall installation.
Typical applications include classrooms, conference rooms, huddle spaces and lecterns where two source devices must be switched to a single display while providing local audio output.
