The EVF-1122D/96 is a compact two-way point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver clear speech and musical content at medium-near to medium throw distances. It combines a 12 in low-frequency transducer and a 3 in titanium compression driver on a rotatable constant directivity horn. The enclosure is weather-treated and finished in white textured paint for fixed-install applications.
Key features include a 12 in DVX3121A woofer optimized by FEA, a 3 in DH7N titanium compression driver, and a rotatable 12 in x 12 in constant directivity horn with a 90 x 60 coverage pattern. The system uses a 4th-order 24 dB/octave passive crossover and an integrated protection circuit for reliable long-term operation. An externally accessible jumper enables passive or bi-amp operation depending on system design.
Performance specifications include a frequency range to -10 dB from 49 Hz to 21 kHz and a measured sensitivity of 97 dB 1 W/1 m. Calculated maximum SPL is 131 dB at 1 m and system power handling is specified as 600 W continuous, 1200 W program, and 2400 W peak. The acoustic crossover is set at 1300 Hz and on-axis response is very linear with maximum deviation of +/-2 dB in the critical vocal range.
Connectivity is handled via an input phoenix panel compatible with up to 10 AWG and Euroblock connections. PI and FG versions include dual-gland-nut input-panel covers for weatherized installations. The cabinet provides 22 M10 suspension points and supports optional flying hardware for permanent installs.
The cabinet is constructed from 13-ply weather-resistant birch and treated with EVCoat for enhanced environmental protection. Grille options include powder-coated steel or stainless steel with hydrophobic cloth backing in PI/FG versions. The assembly meets IEC 60529 environmental ratings with IP44 for standard versions and IP55 for PI and FG versions with appropriate covers.
