The In-Wall Flush Mount Adapter is an in-wall mounting accessory designed to house a WK-MOD style keypad module flush with the wall. It provides a clean, integrated appearance while maintaining full access to the keypad or remote. This adapter is supplied unpainted so it can be finished to match the surrounding wall surface.
Key features include a depth calibration mechanism and a removable keypad adapter that permits easy insertion and removal of the module. The unit is paintable to match any color or texture and is supplied ready for field finishing. The flush design keeps the module level with the wall plane for a discreet installation.
Technical details include a moisture resistant MDF construction compliant with TSCA Title VI and a weight of 0.3Kg (0.66lbs). The adapter requires no power supply as it is a passive mechanical mount. Physical dimensions are 164mm x 164mm x 44mm which fit standard low-profile keypad modules.
Compatibility is targeted at WK-MOD style remote modules and specifically supports the RAKO WK-MOD form factor. For concrete or block wall installations a separate concrete box P/N 10-01-521 is recommended. The adapter does not include the remote module or electronic components.
Typical applications include residential and commercial automation panels where a flush, paintable finish is required. It is suitable for retrofit work or new construction where a discreet control point is desired. The adapter allows easy access for maintenance while maintaining a finished appearance.
Installation is straightforward and follows standard drywall construction practices for 1/2 in drywall. The kit includes mounting hardware to secure the keypad adapter and nuts and screws for reliable fastening. The product is intended to be painted after installation as part of the surrounding wall finish.
