The PL950 Premier Lux tower speaker delivers a full-range stereo listening experience for home audio systems. It is a 2-way ported floor tower engineered to reproduce detailed highs and controlled low-frequency response. The design balances accurate imaging with room-ready bass extension to suit music and home theater applications.
The speaker pairs a 1.125 in synthetic soft dome tweeter with three 6.5 in RPF flat-piston fiberglass and Kevlar composite woofers for controlled midrange and extended low end. The ported enclosure and driver complement provide a frequency response rated at 28Hz to 22kHz and a sensitivity of 89dB. Nominal impedance is 4 Ohms and recommended amplifier power ranges from 10W to 150W.
Technical details include gold-plated 5-way binding post inputs for secure connections and a high gloss finish on MDF for a refined visual presentation. The enclosure is ported to enhance bass output while maintaining transient accuracy. Connectivity is straightforward using standard speaker wiring to the gold-plated binding posts for bi-wiring or single-wire operation as supported by your amplifier or receiver.
