The OG-FS-Mini is an openGear utility frame synchronizer and mini-converter designed to stabilize untimed 3G-SDI, HD and SD video signals to a house reference. It provides simultaneous SDI and HDMI outputs for production signal paths and monitoring. The card integrates easily into 2RU openGear frames for high-density installations.
Key features include 10-bit video processing, low-latency operation with a nominal delay of one video frame, and support for bi-level and tri-level references. The unit performs high-quality up, down and cross-conversion and supports utility frame rate conversion including 3:2 pulldown. Freeze on input loss can be set to black or to the last good frame.
Audio handling includes 16-channel embedded SDI audio I/O and 8-channel HDMI output audio, plus two balanced analog outputs via 3-pin terminal blocks selectable from embedded channels. The OG-FS-Mini also supports AFD input detection and down-convert control. Note that 3G-SDI operation is Level A only; Level B is not supported.
Remote control and monitoring are available through DashBoard software on Windows, macOS and Linux for convenient network-based configuration. The card ships with a rear I/O module and is compatible with OG-X-FR, OG3 and DFR-8321 openGear frames. Ethernet access to the frame is standard and optional per-card Ethernet can be installed for advanced control.
Designed for broadcast engineering and live event production workflows, the OG-FS-Mini provides reliable frame synchronization, conversion and monitoring options in a compact openGear form factor. It is suitable for live feeds, playout chains and OB truck environments where low latency and format conversion are required. The unit supports standard broadcast references and integrates with existing infrastructure.
Installation and operation are simplified by openGear compatibility and DashBoard integration, enabling centralized control across multiple cards and frames. For all shipments shipped via USPS, we offer 'DELIVERY CONFIRMATION' number with each package. Difference between tracking number provided by UPS vs USPS Delivery Confirmation number is: Delivery Confirmation status is updated when the delivery has been made or when the package has made it through major USPS stations.
Air Shipment
Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
