The ICRealtime NVR-EL32-2U32MP1-8TB is a 32-channel rack-mount network video recorder built for high-resolution IP camera systems. It combines a multi-core embedded processor and ICR OS 4.0 to provide robust recording, decoding and firmware update capabilities. This appliance is designed to centralize video capture, AI analytics and secure storage in a single 2U chassis.
The recorder supports up to 32 IP cameras and handles camera resolutions up to 32MP for preview and playback. It delivers up to 1024 Mbps throughput when AI is handled by cameras and supports simultaneous multi-channel HDMI outputs including a single 8K-capable HDMI. Built-in AI functions include perimeter protection, intelligent motion detect and face detection, and the recorder can augment camera-based AI on cameras that lack those features.
Internally the unit includes eight front-accessible hot-swappable SATA III drive bays, each supporting up to 16 TB drives and configurable in Single, RAID 0/1/5/6/10. Recording codecs supported include Smart H.265+/H.265 and Smart H.264+/H.264 with MJPEG fallback. Playback supports up to 16 channels and the unit can decode up to 32 channels at 1080p@30 fps depending on the mode.
Connectivity includes dual 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports with port segregation for management and camera traffic, four HDMI outputs and two VGA outputs for local monitoring. The backplane provides 16 low-level inputs and 8 programmable alarm inputs, two-way RCA audio in/out, RS232 and multiple USB ports. The NVR uses open architecture with ONVIF support and standard network protocols for integration with third-party VMS solutions and browsers.
This recorder is suitable for demanding environments such as commercial sites, educational campuses and correctional facilities where large-area coverage and high-resolution evidence capture are required. Its ability to internally de-warp 360 degree fisheye streams and produce time-synchronized flat views aids forensic review of wide-area incidents. The unit supports business intelligence features such as people counting and heat mapping when paired with compatible cameras.
Engineered for rack installations the NVR-EL32 features a rugged 2U chassis, front-access HDD bays and hot standby/Global HDD hot spare support for fault tolerance. It is TAA-compliant and factory configured with ICR OS 4.0 to accept future security updates. Field technicians will find the web UI, mobile apps and standard protocols facilitate deployment and ongoing management.
