Description
The NHD-610-TX is a 10GbE SDVoE encoder designed to deliver zero-latency, high-fidelity video and audio over standard IP networks. It encodes full HDMI 2.0 signals including high dynamic range formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. The unit expands SDVoE 600 series capabilities by adding Dante/AES67 audio output and full-speed USB HID for peripheral extension.
The encoder supports 4K60 4:4:4 8-bit and multichannel audio passthrough including object-based formats. It features Genlock mode for uncompressed near-zero end-to-end latency and Fast Switch mode for seamless source switching. A balanced 5-pin connector provides configurable analog I/O to de-embed audio or serve as discrete audio input/output.
Performance specifications include a 600MHz maximum pixel clock and encoding data rates up to approximately 8.7Gbps for 4K60 4:4:4 with light compression. Genlock mode delivers uncompressed latency around 30 microseconds and compressed latency under 120 microseconds. Fast Switch mode switches in 1-2 video frames depending on framerate, suitable for most AV workflows.
Connectivity is comprehensive with a 10GbE RJ45 main port, an auxiliary 1GbE LAN port for bridged or isolated networks, HDMI 2.0 input and loop output, balanced 5-pin analog audio I/O, RS-232, IR TX/RX jacks and four USB 1.1 HID ports. The device supports HDCP 2.2, CEC and EDID management for wide display compatibility. Dante/AES67 audio transmission enables integration with networked audio systems.
Typical applications include distributed AV over IP installations, large-scale digital signage, lecture capture, broadcast facility patching and conference systems where low latency and HDR support are required. The NHD-610-TX suits environments that need audio routing to Dante-enabled amplifiers or mixers and remote USB HID extension for control surfaces and touch displays. It is also appropriate for video wall and multiview processing when paired with other SDVoE endpoints.
Installation is streamlined with 802.3at PoE+ support to eliminate local power bricks and compatibility with standard 1RU rack hardware for tidy integration. Sygma Cloud Device Management provides remote monitoring, firmware updates and centralized support for managing distributed deployments. The encoder is built for continuous operation and secure A/V transport using AES encryption and robust firmware update paths.
