Description
The NHD-510-TX is a 1GbE AV-over-IP JPEG2000 encoder designed to capture and distribute high-quality video and audio across IP networks. It accepts both HDMI and USB-C sources and provides an HDMI loop-out for local monitoring. The unit supports HDR formats and is engineered for low latency delivery.
Key capabilities include native 4K60 4:4:4 encoding, support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and configurable encoding data rates up to 850Mbps. The device offers automatic input switching between HDMI and USB-C to simplify source management during live events and presentations. Dante AV-A support provides dedicated audio-over-IP channels when licensed.
Performance highlights include a maximum pixel clock of 600MHz and end-to-end video latency as low as 4ms in passthrough mode. The encoder uses JPEG2000 compression and provides a 720p preview stream for monitoring. Supported video standards include RGB, BT.2020, BT.709, DCI, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision.
Connectivity is comprehensive with 1x HDMI input, 1x USB-C input, 1x HDMI loop-out, a 5-pin balanced analog In/Out de-embed, and a USB 2.0 host port. Network options include 1x 1GbE RJ45 for AV streaming, 1x 1Gbps SFP for fiber or copper, and a separate 1GbE RJ45 for Dante or attached source network connectivity. Control interfaces include RS-232 on a 4-pin phoenix connector, CEC, bidirectional IR, and API support.
The NHD-510-TX fits a range of installations from corporate boardrooms and lecture halls to digital signage and secure government facilities. It scales in multicast environments and integrates with NetworkHD Touch for tablet-based matrix control and previewing. The encoder also supports custom idle images and EDID import/export to streamline branding and source handshake management.
Deployment is simplified with Sygma Cloud device management for remote monitoring, firmware updates, and centralized support. Power options include a 20V 6A supply and 802.3at PoE+ compliance for flexible installations. Rack and wall mounting accessories are available to accommodate standard AV racks and in-room mounts.

Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
