The NHD-140-RACK-1U is a 1U low-profile rack mount designed to house up to two 100 Series quad encoders in a compact side-by-side arrangement. It provides a neat, centralized installation point that reduces rack clutter and improves cable management. The shallow depth and slim profile help maximize usable rack space in constrained environments.
Engineered for practical installation, the rack mount includes integrated EIA-310-D 19 inch rack ears and removable encoder brackets. The horizontal slot arrangement allows encoders to be mounted with connections facing front or rear to suit different cable-routing strategies. Included hardware such as mounting brackets and a blanking plate speed up pre-rack assembly and onsite deployment.
Physical specifications are tuned for high-density encoder installations – the unit measures 43.5mm (1.71in) high, 483mm (19in) wide and 162mm (6.38in) deep. The all-steel enclosure provides secure support while minimizing flex and movement of mounted devices. The design promotes passive thermal dissipation and unrestricted airflow to help maintain device MTBF and stable operation.
Connectivity orientation is configurable to match your rack topology – encoders can face front or rear to align ports and simplify cabling. The rack ears comply with standard 19 inch EIA-310-D mounting, ensuring compatibility with most AV and IT enclosures. The shallow chassis is compatible with shallow or full-depth racks where space density and airflow are priorities.
Typical applications include centralized NetworkHD encoder racks, broadcast and streaming shelters, and compact AV closets where high encoder density is required. The product is well suited to systems that are pre-built in-rack for rapid deployment on site. Improved port visibility and reduced cable runs help speed commissioning and maintenance workflows.

Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Up-to-date tracking information is provided with each Air Shipment. AVProSupply has the right to choose between Air shipments to meet or reduce delivery time.
