The NHD-120-TX is a NetworkHD 120 series AV over IP encoder designed to deliver 4K30 4:2:0 video streams across standard IP networks. It encodes HDMI sources into low-bandwidth streams while retaining image fidelity and supporting advanced video wall features. The unit secures AV traffic using AES 128-bit encryption to protect sensitive content.
The encoder supports both low-bandwidth and high-quality transmission modes and includes built-in scaling to mix 4K and 1080p displays. Video wall capabilities include up to 16×16 layouts, bezel compensation, rotation and mosaic configurations. Multiview and preview options are available when paired with compatible decoders such as the NHD-150-RX.
In typical use the NHD-120-TX handles SD and HD formats including interlaced content and supports HDMI v1.4 sources with HDCP 2.2 compliance. Color sampling for delivered streams is 4:2:0 and the encoder is engineered for efficient multicast distribution to scale across installations. Multiple latency profiles are offered to balance responsiveness and picture quality.
Connectivity and control options include analog audio de-embed, IR, RS-232 and CEC control passthrough via the IP network. Flexible IP addressing supports AutoIP, DHCP or static addressing and the product integrates with the NetworkHD Touch and Companion control apps for source selection and preview. The routing engine can separate audio, IR and RS-232 from video for custom signal assignments.
Security and manageability are built into the design – AES 128-bit AV encryption protects stream content while SSH, TLS and HTTPS secure management and control traffic. Firmware update capability and standard network protocols allow integration into typical AV over IP workflows. Seamless switching and multicast delivery ensure no black frames during source changes.
The NHD-120-TX is compact and designed for professional AV installations where mixed-resolution displays, video walls and secure streaming are required. Installation is straightforward using standard Ethernet infrastructure and the built-in scaler reduces the need for external scaling hardware. For all shipments shipped via USPS, we offer 'DELIVERY CONFIRMATION' number with each package. Difference between tracking number provided by UPS vs USPS Delivery Confirmation number is: Delivery Confirmation status is updated when the delivery has been made or when the package has made it through major USPS stations.
Air Shipment
Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Up-to-date tracking information is provided with each Air Shipment. AVProSupply has the right to choose between Air shipments to meet or reduce delivery time. Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
