The MXV-0808-H2A-KIT is a high-bandwidth HDMI matrix switcher designed to distribute 4K/60 video and multichannel audio across multiple displays and zones. It preserves full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth using WyreStorm lossless compression technology to maintain color fidelity and image detail. The unit supports mirrored HDMI outputs for local displays and HDBaseT outputs for long-distance distribution.
Key features include 18Gbps encoding throughput, HDBaseT Class B transmission, and support for 4K/60 video up to 4:4:4 where applicable. The matrix provides S/PDIF audio extraction, routable RS-232 and CEC control, bidirectional IR, and a web UI for matrix control. The platform also supports HDR formats including HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision as listed in specifications.
Performance specifications emphasize low latency and high fidelity; the matrix operates with an end-to-end latency of 10μs and supports maximum HDMI pixel clocks up to 600MHz. The HDBaseT ports support EDID pass-through, HDCP 2.2 and 1-way PoH where applicable.
This matrix is suitable for residential entertainment systems, multiroom AV installations, corporate boardrooms and digital signage environments where mixed-resolution displays are present. It handles content distribution across compatible displays while preserving HDR and color fidelity for sources and sinks that support advanced formats. The matrix supports automated control scenarios using API-driven CEC triggers and routable RS-232 commands for synchronized power and AV control.

System integrators can use the Web UI, Telnet, or matrix control API to automate standby, CEC triggers and source routing.
