The MX-1007-HYB is a 10×7 HDMI matrix switcher that combines HDBaseT extension, NetworkHD 500 over IP and embedded audio amplification. It provides seamless 4K60Hz switching to maintain continuous video during source transitions. The unit is designed to simplify AV system deployments in boardrooms, lecture halls and presentation spaces.
Key features include HDBaseT inputs and outputs, NetworkHD 500 transmit and receive, USB-C source support and a built-in 100 Watt amplifier with onboard DSP. The switcher supports HDCP 2.3 and multiple HDR formats to ensure compatibility with modern content sources. Fast seamless switching avoids black frames and preserves presentation flow.
Technical performance covers 18Gbps encoding, a 600MHz maximum pixel clock and support for 3840x2160p at 60Hz in both 4:2:0 and 4:4:4 modes. Audio handling includes PCM 2ch analog and Dante 4×4 networked audio plus routable audio matrixing up to 18×10. The internal amplifier delivers 25 Watts per channel into 4 or 8 ohm loads and integrates with DSP for EQ, ducking and automatic gain control.
Connectivity is extensive with 1x USB-C Alt Mode input, 7x HDMI inputs, HDBaseT 3.0 I/O and NetworkHD 500 I/O for AV over IP. Control options include RS-232, telnet, web UI and GPIO plus relay ports for automation tasks. USB host switching and device extension are supported across USB-C, USB-B and NetworkHD/HDBaseT USB endpoints.
Typical applications include corporate presentation systems where multi-source AV and long-distance extension are required, higher-education lecture capture and distribution, and integrated digital signage systems that need scalable AV distribution. The Dante audio and amplified speaker outputs reduce the need for external audio power amplifiers. Networked integration allows distribution across existing 1Gb networks for flexible system design.
Installation is streamlined with 2U rack form factor, PoH support on HDBaseT links and Sygma cloud device management for remote monitoring and firmware updates. EDID management and built-in scaling to 480p-2160p simplify display compatibility. The MX-1007-HYB combines AV extension, switching and amplified audio in a single chassis to reduce rack complexity and cabling.
