The MX-0812-SCL is a professional 8 input 12 output HDMI matrix switcher designed to manage multiple 4K60 video sources across a mixed display estate. It provides per-output scaling and advanced video processing to deliver consistent image presentation across displays. The unit also supports integrated audio de-embedding and networked Dante audio for flexible audio routing and distribution.
Each of the 12 HDMI outputs includes a dedicated 4K60 scaler enabling independent output resolution and format control. The matrix supports video wall functions including cropping, bezel correction and image rotation for outputs 9-12. Multiview configurations such as Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture and Quad view are available to show multiple sources on a single screen.
Technically the MX-0812-SCL handles uncompressed 18Gbps video streams and supports HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG. It accepts a range of resolutions up to 3840x2160p@60Hz in 10bit 4:2:2 and 12bit 4:2:0 variants plus 4096x2160p@60Hz 4:4:4. The platform also supports HDCP 2.2/2.3, EDID management and a 600MHz max pixel clock for broad format compatibility.
Connectivity includes 8 HDMI inputs, 12 HDMI outputs, 4 Dante inputs and 4 Dante outputs along with 4 analog line level outputs for legacy audio devices. Control options include RS-232 via a 3-pin Phoenix port and IP control via a single RJ-45 supporting Telnet, TLS and HTTP/HTTPS for web UI. Reset functions are accessible through API, WebUI or a pin-hole reset button.
The MX-0812-SCL is suited to control rooms, broadcast facilities and live event rigs where simultaneous live monitoring and flexible audio routing are required. It supports grouped video wall layouts and mirrored multiview outputs so multiple displays can present identical multi-source layouts. The integrated Dante 4×4 and analog outputs allow system designers to separate audio paths from video streams for routing to consoles or PA systems.
Installation is rack-friendly at 2U and includes mounting hardware for standard 19 inch racks. The unit operates from a universal AC power supply supporting 100V-240V mains and is designed for pro AV environments with industrial control methods. Firmware update support and API control streamline integration and ongoing management in managed AV systems.
