The MX-0804-EDC is a 1U 8×4 seamless matrix switcher engineered to deliver fast video switching and flexible audio routing in professional AV environments. It combines a full-featured USB-C input, seven HDMI inputs, four HDMI outputs and integrated audio processing into a compact rack-mount unit. The product is designed to simplify source management and ensure smooth visual transitions during presentations and AV events.
This matrix supports 4K60 video switching and per-output scaling to maintain consistent image quality across displays. Audio is handled through analog mic inputs, line outputs, USB audio and Dante 4×4 digital audio for low-latency networked audio distribution. The built-in DSP provides independent mixers and automatic ducking to keep speech intelligible and media audio balanced.
Performance highlights include support for 3840×2160 at 60Hz, full 4:4:4 4K60 for compatible signals and a 600MHz maximum pixel clock. The unit is HDMI 2.0 capable and supports HDCP 2.3 pass-through to maintain content protection compatibility. Control options include RS-232 via a 3-pin Phoenix, dual LAN ports for web UI and Sygma Cloud management, GPIO and relay ports for external control. HDCP, EDID and CEC control features are supported to simplify integration with source and display devices.
Typical applications include higher-education lecture halls, corporate meeting spaces, and boardrooms where multiple presenters and media sources must be managed cleanly. The device supports mixed media workflows such as laptop USB-C presentation, remote Dante audio feeds and embedded HDMI sources.
