The MNVR-EL04 is a 4-channel mobile network video recorder engineered for in-dash and vehicle surveillance applications. It records IP camera streams up to 4K resolution and supports up to 8MP imaging, providing detailed evidence capture on the move. The unit is compact, shockproof and designed for continuous operation in mobile environments.
Key features include four built-in PoE ports to power cameras directly, H.265/H.264 compression to maximize storage efficiency, and a 1 SATA port supporting up to 2 TB of HDD capacity. The recorder accepts 200 Mbps incoming bandwidth and throughput to handle multiple high-resolution streams simultaneously. It also supports advanced camera intelligence such as face detection and recognition when used with compatible cameras.
Performance is driven by a dual-core embedded processor running Embedded LINUX, enabling real-time recording and reliable playback. Video detection functions include motion detection with MD zone support and video loss detection. Playback options include time/date search, alarm and motion search, exact second search, and a variety of playback controls for rapid review.
Connectivity options are extensive – one gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port, built-in WiFi, 4G LTE remote access (Verizon only), GPS support, and ONVIF 2.3 compatibility for third-party cameras. Management is available via IC Now desktop software, DSS, or the IC View+ mobile app for iOS and Android. The unit also offers RS232, RS485, USB 2.0, audio I/O and an SD card slot for flexible integration.
The MNVR-EL04 is suited for patrol vehicles, public transit, shuttles, and commercial fleets where continuous, reliable video capture is required. It supports alarm input/output, two-way audio, and camera trigger events such as PTZ control, alarm output, FTP upload and email notifications. The ruggedized enclosure and optional heater make it capable in extreme temperatures found in mobile deployments.
Installation is straightforward and designed for mobile environments, with DC 6V~36V power input and low power consumption under 15W without HDD. The compact footprint and anti-vibration storage compartment protect the hard drive and internal components.
