The MA3-PS-4812 is a dedicated 48V 12A power supply designed for compatible modular matrices. It provides centralized PoE power delivery to supported matrix cards and their extension ports – enabling remote powering of connected transmitters and receivers. The unit is built for rack installation and is optimized for professional AV environments.
Key features include a 48V 12A DC output, universal AC input range, and integrated PoE power delivery capabilities. The supply accepts 100-240V AC at 50/60Hz and reports a typical consumption of 5.2A. The design supports remote powering over compatible extension links to simplify field deployments.
Electrical performance is specified as 48V DC output at 12A and 5.2A AC consumption under typical conditions. Operating temperature range is 0C to +35C and storage range is -20C to +60C. Relative humidity operation is rated 20% to 90% RHL non-condensing.
Connectivity and mounting are straightforward – the unit fits a 1U space in a standard 19in rack and is intended to operate above MTX3-34-M or VS-34FD matrix frames. The supply receives AC power per region standards and delivers DC PoE to compatible matrix card extension ports. Compatibility is limited to supported Kramer modular matrices and cards.
